Who We Are
No Jesus No Life Ministries is a Christ-centered children’s ministry dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and raising vulnerable children into strong, God-fearing leaders.
We exist to give hope where it once was lost and to build futures filled with purpose, dignity, and love.
Our Story
What began as a simple act of compassion grew into a home filled with children who have found family again.
With faith as our foundation, we opened our doors to little ones who had nowhere else to go—orphans, abandoned children, and those living in deep poverty.
Each child that comes into our ministry becomes part of us.
We believe God has entrusted us with this mission, and through His strength, we continue to expand, love, and serve.
Our History
No Jesus No Life Ministries was founded on 26th December 2010, the birthday of its director, Katambala Simon Peter. On that day, inspired by God and moved by the plight of vulnerable children in his community, Simon Peter felt a deep calling to make a real difference. The ministry began humbly, with a simple act of love: providing food to children who often went to bed hungry. It was the first spark of what would grow into a life-changing ministry, giving hope to those who had none.
From its earliest days, the ministry aimed to restore lives through practical care, education, and the love of Jesus. Between 2011 and 2015, the children experienced joy, care, and stability, nurtured not only by the ministry’s team but also by a committed sponsor whose support ensured their needs were met. Life seemed brighter for these children—they felt loved, valued, and protected.
Then, tragedy struck. In 2015, the ministry’s devoted sponsor, a lifeline for the children, passed away in a sudden accident. The impact was devastating. Without his support, the ministry struggled to meet even the basic needs of the children. Meals became less regular, medical care harder to afford, and many children faced hunger, sickness, and deep uncertainty for the first time in their lives. What had once been a place of hope began to feel fragile, and the faces of the children reflected worry and fear that no child should ever know.
Despite these overwhelming challenges, the ministry refused to give up. In 2016, No Jesus No Life Ministries took a bold step of faith by formalizing full-time care for the children—providing safe living spaces, structured routines, and enrolling every child in school. Slowly, support from local churches, friends, and compassionate donors began to arrive, allowing the ministry to continue its mission.
From 2017 to 2020, the ministry welcomed more children, expanding programs to include youth fellowships, medical care, and special outreach events like Christmas celebrations. The children began to smile again, regaining a sense of belonging, security, and hope for the future.
After 2020, No Jesus No Life Ministries entered a new phase of growth and vision: improving dormitories, planning to build its own school and administration block, and creating skill-building programs such as tailoring, carpentry, welding, furniture making, and sanitary pad production—ensuring that the children are empowered for independent and meaningful lives.
Today, after 15 years of unwavering service, the ministry cares for 103 children, each one a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of love. From the humble beginnings on Simon Peter’s birthday, through seasons of joy and deep hardship, the ministry has become a beacon of hope. Every child here is reminded that without Jesus, there is no life—but with Him, every child has a future filled with hope, love, and dignity.
The struggles of the past have made this mission even more urgent: there are still many children waiting for love, safety, and a chance at life. Your support today can bring them out of darkness and into the warmth of God’s care.
